Meet Herman Fung

Herman is a technology professional with 20 years of multi-sector and international experience. He specialises in designing service-oriented strategies and leading transitions. Integrating traditional support processes and service frameworks (such as ITIL) with modern change delivery techniques, methodologies, technologies (such as Agile, DevOps, full-stack, automation, products) to minimise risk to BAU operations whilst maximising return on investment from projects.

From leading teams and projects at FTSE 250 and public sector organisations, he has first-hand experience of delivering change and building support operations by leveraging cross-functional teams, including infrastructure and applications, managing inhouse teams and leveraging third-party outsource partners.

Herman is the author of The Successful Software Manager, a career guidebook to help software developers aspiring to advance their careers and improve job satisfaction to transition into management. He has identified and coached numerous talented technical people to design and find their own path to improve retention and performance.
